Maybe, Baby.

You just can never be too sure.

Tick Tock.

I'm just letting time pass. It's almost Christmas! Wow, could you actually believe it? Time's always fast. It's annoying. Haha. Okay, so not all the time. At least I've finished second term. That's always good.

Dad and I went shopping yesterday. He thought of finally bringing me to that ukay near UE (his hospital). There were a lot of boots! I got to buy two pairs there. Well, the other one was a pair of boxing shoes. Then we went to SM North 'cause dad had to buy some last-minute Christmas presents. After, we had to meet mom in glorietta. I immediately went inside my favorite shop (kirin kirin), and got a pair of ankle length leggings. Yes, I know, it's a fad. But they'll look great with my boots! Not everyone wears boots. Hopefully, it won't become a fad, too. At around 9pm last night, Jos dropped by just to hand my presents and see me open them! Isn't that sweet? :) He gave me clothes, a belt and a Roald Dahl book! Yay! :D Thanks, Jos! It's good mom didn't complain that he got here so late at night. Before, she'd shoo Jos out of the house at around 7:30. But last night, the only thing she was worried about was how he's going home. Maybe it's the pot. I'm kidding. Jos is spoiled with my mom ever since. >:p

Mom spoiled me today. It's surprising. She got me these gorgeous shoes from Celine. They were on sale... And they're stilletos. Unusual for me to purchase such shoes, but hey, they're sexy. And besides, it's new year. I could try new stuff. :p She got me skinny jeans, too. Not just one pair, but TWO. They'll look lovely with my new shoes! It was weird though. Usually, she'd ask me to just pick one. AND she told me we could still go shopping like on the 26th or the 27th when SM goes on sale or something. Do we have that much money this season or am I just being plainly spoiled for no reason? Fishy. But I don't think I should complain. :D

My brother got me a new pet-- a fortune lobster. It's interesting... and frustrating. I can't really see it move around much. It freezes when it feels something nearby. Dad said I should get a pair of binoculars. Hahaha. I still love Lobby though. (Yes. Lobby the Lobster.)

I just finished reading Eldest. It's awesome! It took me a year to finish it. Hahahaha. I can't believe it took me that long. I was too lazy. But finishing it is fulfilling 'cause it has a great twist. Can't wait to watch Eragon. I don't really remember the story of that one, but I remember enjoying it as well. Right now, I'm reading Twilight. It's a story about a girl who's in love with a vampire, who happens to have a liking for this girl's blood. So far, so good. :) I'm gonna resume reading right after I post this. (I think. I'm still chatting with Celisse)

Wonder if Santa's passing by tonight. :) I've been eyeing this stuff toy in Animal Land. It's a sheep that actually looks like Lamb Chop! There are no more stocks left in Power Plant, and there was only one left in Toys R Us when I checked earlier! :( I hope dad got one behind my back. Hahaha. But I swear, it's adorable. Lamb chop... :(

Oh, the Wreckers are nominated for a Grammy! For best duo or country something or something. Hehehe. I'm so proud! I honestly cannot believe it. I didn't know that they're that popular now. Probably because the Wreckers aren't that exposed here in the Philippines. Sheesh. The album was released like May or June, and it only got here this month! Could you believe that?! Oh well. I'm proud of them nonetheless! :) Hope they get it!

(my, my, this is a LOOOOOONG post.)

I'm still chatting with Celisse, and I'm so flattered that she asked me where I buy my clothes. She said she needs a new wardrobe but she's not exactly surrounded by kikay girls. (Er, I'm not kikay though.) She'd want to go shopping some time, and I told her maybe we could before classes resume. Her mom doesn't like it when she takes long picking clothes so she doesn't get to shop.

Don't we all just love shopping? :)

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Enjoy, Blockmates.

Dad: Is it okay if you don't go to the paaartyyy?
Me: No. But I dont have a choice, do I? *batts eyelashes* *big toothy grin*

Oh, well. Too bad I'm allowed. And I don't think I'll be allowed again next year if ever it'll still be in Ru's house... Or anywhere in Alabang for that matter. If only I can drive. But mom won't let me 'cause she thinks I won't go back home. *sigh*

Have fun, blockmates. :) Too bad. Christmas party won't be as interesting without me. Hahahahahaha! I kid, I kid!! XD

One Lax Thursday.

Probably nature read either my thoughts or my blog 'cause right after I posted that thing about a hot December and went inside my room to read a book... It got really chilly. Until now actually.

Instead of reading, I fell asleep. It feels sooooo goooood. It was cold. Mocha, my new, humungous, stuffed dog, was sleeping by my feet (I didn't have a blanket so...) and the Borrowed Heaven album (The Corrs) was playing in the background. It's wonderful sleeping in at home and not worrying about anything. :)

When I woke up, Joey and Miles were on. It's been a long time since I last listened to them! And it was fun. Joey's still mean to Miles but he still gets his usual karma. Haha. He was teasing Miles about her flat-chestedness by saying that her glasses are probably thicker than her bra. But he later said hal-lurs when he greeted the Halers, which is really pronounced as Hale-ers (as in the band) :p

Post-Course Card Day Post.

This is 2 days late.

My grades aren't extravagant this term... As if I expected much more. Hahaha. Luckily, I passed everything. Mostly 2.0's and 2.5's, and a 1.0 for INPRINT. :| I'm still waiting for my INBROAD result though. Yes, until now, we still don't have it.

At first, I felt sad because, being the trying-hard achiever that I am, I want higher grades. But I later realized that I think I learned the most this term. And I had fun anyway. Even though my grades are mediocre, at least I know that the experience and my performance aren't... And that's the greatest thing. :)

Holiday Weather.

I miss chilly December mornings. Hopefully, it'll get cold by January to March. I'd want to bring out my occasional comforter! It's always fun to freeze at night and snuggle underneath that thing. At least it's raining right now. Hmm. Maybe the cold weather's just waiting for Christmas morning to arrive. If not, having hot cocoa on the 25th won't be the same.

Skinny vs Chocolates.

Amazing what chocolates and toned-down-to-almost-no-more training can do to you. Just look at that skinny tummy of mine! Plus -ahem- my chest! I think this was taken during the Simbuyo days. People say I look better now though. But but... :(

I'm sure to pig out more than I usually do for the next two weeks. I should remind myself to move around and sweat instead of just sitting in front of the computer the whole day or whatever. If only we live in a nice and safe village so I can jog in the morning or ride a bike.

I'm vain. Yes, I know. XD

I still love chocolates.

By the way, Don't you just love my boots? :D I know I do :">

2 Weeks Idle.

Yes, finally, I can feel the holidays coming up. Second term has officially ended! All I have to worry about now is course card day. Hopefully, I pass everything. I don't care if I don't get in the Dean's List this term. Heck, I said goodbye to DL after receiving all my course cards last term! I knew it was going to be the last time. No, wait, I shouldn't think that way. I could still try to get high grades for the next 4 terms... Oh my God, I have only 4 terms left. Well, hopefully, I graduate on time.

It's funny how I think I won't make it through when I actually do in the end. I was mainly stressed because of FOTOCAM. Many times did I say that I'd give up but I knew that I didn't really mean it. I was just really frustrated because my best was never good enough for our prof. At least, I know that I did everything I could.

I'm sure next term will be a killer. I'm taking up INTRORE with Dr. Diaz, and VIDPROD with the famous mr. Groyon. I only took 15 units, so I hope that would help lighten things up a bit. I'll do my best as I always do. I just hope I won't fail anything next term. It's traumatizing, I swear. INTPHIL has permanently scarred my record.

I'm getting rusty! Haven't danced for how many weeks now! I super miss Jazz. We're having our NOTA concert next term. (if ever there is anyone reading this, WATCH! Free admission!) Hopefully, we'll all get back in shape. Yikes. NOTA might add up to my work load. Another challenge for me then. I know I'll make this through. Wait, I shouldn't worry about this yet! It's the first day of vacation and I'm already thinking about going back to school. It's time for me to unwind and relax... And finish reading Eldest once and for all! :))

Accomplished.

Yes, I am proud to say that today is a very productive day. I did my part for the INBROAD paper, and I made a reviewer for the TV handout. Oh, and I already fixed up all the clothes I need for my final shoot tomorrow. I sure hope that I'll be more productive tomorrow with my shots. :)

Now I have to go take a bath, dry my hair and put a bunch of curlers before I go to bed. Hopefully, mom'd get home soon. I don't know how to put them curlers.

Tomorrow, I will be in career mode! Those shots have to be BEAUTIFUL. Besides the 50's and 90's shots that I lack, I'll be doing some 70's and 80's again. Maybe ma'am'll pick more than 3. Hopefully, she will so that I can pick!

Tone Deaf.

Today's the last day of regular classes, and for the first time in my whole academic life, I do not feel as if time flew by too fast. Well, it did... But it's a different feeling. Well, I've never had so much work load in my life. I guess it's because of that. All the stress from this term made me forget about time. Ah! I know now. Before, time'd fly too fast, and I'd think that I've not really done or accomplished anything. But for this term, it's the complete opposite. Yes yes, that's it!

Majors are killing me. Plus stat. I do NOT know what made me think of taking STAT101 this term. I could've chosen to take it when my other subjects aren't so heavy. But noooooooooooo. At least I'm passing. Unbelievable!

I should never trust my gut feelings or intuitions. They always turn out to be the other way around. For instance, I thought I'd super fail my latest stat quiz, but I got a 2.0 (74%). Another one is when I'd think my enlargements for FOTOCAM are good enough... I'd get a 2.5 or worse-- a 1.5 or one big fat UNO.(fat? Uh... The number 1 isn't fat but you do get my point, right?)

I'm rambling. It feels good to blog. :) I get to release all this stress.

Like I said, I just had my last day of regular classes. Next week, however, is not only finals week but also projects/papers week! We have to pass in a paper for INBROAD (ours is on interactive television) and we have to pass 2 scrapbooks (photo-essay and portfolio) FOTOCAM. If only I had my own dark room. That would be fun... But scary, too. I wouldn't want to work alone!

I'm surprised ma'am picked 7 shots from my 3 contact prints. I'm proud. I thought she'd just pick one of each! See? I always think wrong. Hahaha. I lack 3 more shots. I'm hoping I could shoot tomorrow. I need models though.

I can't feel Christmas yet, but I definitely can not wait for Christmas break. I'm sure that once I've finished all my requirements, I'll be psyched for the holidays. I deserve a break, man!

By the way, I think I'm turning tone deaf.
